Retail Sales Manager – Fashion – Donegal

€28-€36K + Bonus (Commensurate with Experience)

As a Retail Sales Manager in the Fashion Department you will possess the skills and experience to shape the future of this exceptional store.

We are working with an award winning fashion institution situated in Donegal, they offer an abundance of designer labels under one roof and have a reputation synonymous with quality, variety and customer excellence. They consistently fuse market leading customer service with an extensive product/designer brand range to attract fashion conscious clientele from across Ireland.

To aid them in their ongoing growth and development in the years ahead, they wish to receive interest from suitably experienced individuals for an integral role in their Fashion Department.

The Retail Sales Manager will assume full operational responsibility for the department and will become the brand ambassador for the company in this area.

The successful applicant will possess demonstrable people management experience to include experience with disciplinary procedures  & performance management, with solid experience gained in the retail industry at department manager level or above.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about clothes with the ability to advise others on putting an outfit together complete with all the right accessories

You’ll be responsible for managing budgets, stock control and merchandising to make sure that standards of service are world-class. This is a high-profile and hands-on management role that requires commercial acumen and creative flair. As a role model on the shop floor, you’ll coach, give feedback, build morale, roll out initiatives, and make recommendations on merchandising and product presentation

With outstanding customer service skills, you will also possess a strong flair for Sales and in achieving targets both individually and as part of your team. You commercial acumen, coupled with first class communication skills will enable you to manage others successfully to achieve common goals and objectives in line with company expectation. The successful applicant must possess a proven track record in Retail Management within a ladies wear fashion environment.
