Job Description

Network Recruitment is exclusively working with one of Mid Ulster’s leading business institutions to assist them in sourcing and appointing an experienced Receptionist for their busy office. They are widely recognised as an innovative organisation committed to delivering a first class service.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Operation of a busy switchboard including taking, recording and relaying messages
  • Recording incoming and outgoing mail
  • Presenting a professional image of the company through a high standard of receptionist cover.
  • Provide a quality administration service through typing, word processing, filing and general office duties.
  • Preparation of large documents through word processing
  • Facilitate Room bookings
  • Cash Handling
  • Banking

 

The ideal candidate will have a bubbly and extrovert personality with excellent time management and fantastic communication skills.

Hours of Work: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Assistant Supervisor – Chassis Shop (Mid Ulster)

Job Description

Established in 1978 with a reputation for producing products of a very high standard and becoming one of the market leaders in Europe, our client is experiencing a period of growth in their industry of operation.  As a result of this growth they wish to appoint an Assistant Supervisor in their Chassis Shop for their busy facility in Mid Ulster.  The Assistant Supervisor will be involved in assisting the Department Manager in the administration, staff supervision, maintenance, health and safety, co-ordination of workflow and overall smooth running of the department.

Duties to include but not limited to: 

  • Supervision of operators on Chassis Shop floor
  • Ensuring that cell leaders are carrying out their duties effectively and efficiently
  • Coordinating work-flow
  • Stock control
  • Issuing Personal Protective Equipment
  • Re-working customer changes and ensuring snag are cleared.
  • Taking care of timesheets for operators across department
  • Expediting missing parts
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
  • Keeping standard drawings in order
  • Being aware of health and safety issues
  • General administrative duties as required by the position

 Essential Criteria

  • Computer Literate
  • Welding knowledge preferably gained in an engineering environment
  • Supervisory Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills as the position will involve liaison with various internal departments
  • Team player
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to prioritize workflow
  • Ability to work to deadlines

Technical Account Manager to join their team of experienced professionals for a period of 6-9 months.
The main remit of this position is to act as the primary point of contact for customers assigned to a specific geographical territory to provide technical support, and a comprehensive level of customer service, to ensure that sales are increased with new and existing accounts.
Job Purpose:
To act as the primary point of contact for customers assigned to the territory providing technical support and customer service with the ultimate goal of increasing sales at new and existing accounts.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Account Maintenance
• Troubleshoot/resolve customer complaints and issues
• Follow-up on late orders
• Develop/review price quotas
• Monitor open order status
• Conduct account follow-up calls
• Develop and submit daily sales reports
• Coordinate on-site sales calls with Outside sales reps
• Conduct sales ‘cold calls’ on prospective new customers
• Develop and distribute customer feedback reports
• Determine appropriate shipping methods
• Adjust shipping dates and production priorities (with prior supervisory approval)
• Reduce/change pricing on non-standard or new products (with prior approval)
• Issue return authorisations (with prior approval)
• Issue non-standard restocking fees (with prior approval)
• Complete any other duties as assigned
New Account/product generation
• Provide background market research on new markets and materials
• Lead follow-up
• Conduct cold calls
• Generate new business at existing accounts
• Seek out new avenues for company products
• Attempt to expand company market share
• Complete any other duties assigned
• Contract negotiation and review of sales agreements with business customers
• Occasional travel to obtain an understanding of customer and industry requirements
• Develop and maintain contacts in the customer and manufacturing communities
• Managing relationships with key accounts and working to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels
• Handle incoming calls, including order status, problem solving, etc., as needed
• Internal problem solving i.e. order scheduling, expediting, etc.
• Organize and work to resolve all Quality, Shipping and Production issues for Production meetings
• Attend weekly sales training sessions during normal operating hours

Essential Criteria:
• Candidates must possess strong technical acumen with a degree or 3rd level qualification in Engineering, Materials Science or Chemistry, or in a related discipline.
• Applicants must possess established communication skills and will possess relevant customer service, account management and/or sales experience.
• Applicants must possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Strong I.T. skills essential
Desirable Criteria:
• Applicants with a fluent 2nd language in German are highly sought after
• Experience in using Oracle (database) highly sought after
