Financial Controller – Donegal – Maternity Cover

Network Recruitment Letterkenny are working with an award winning and highly prestigious employer to assist them in making an integral addition to their team of highly experienced and skilled professionals in the Donegal area. This company have business interests in a varied range of industries to include; Property Development, Investment, Hospitality and Retail to name but a few. With a philosophy based on cultural integration and innovation, they have developed into one of the most successful companies in their industries of operation.

As a result of continued growth, they wish to make an integral appointment to their operations in the Donegal area. They have appointed us to assist them in recruiting a suitably experienced Financial Controller for a Maternity Cover Contract for a duration of 6 months.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting system with efficiency and accuracy ensuring all entities are controlled and correct
  • Prepare weekly and monthly Management Accounts
  • Produce Cash Flow forecasting along with Management and Financial reports
  • Produce Year End Accounts and fulfill all Statutory Return requirements
  • Manage the payroll system and procedures
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register, calculation of depreciation charges
  • Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Cashier and Stock duties as required
  • Ad hoc duties as required

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience
  • Professional Accounting Qualification
  • Experience within the Hotel Industry
  • Analytical and logical approach to work
  • Reporting directly to the Financial Manager at head office

Accounts Assistant

Location: Derry   |   Salary: £7.00 - £7.50 per hour

Job Description

Network Recruitment are currently working with a successful company in the Moneymore area to appoint a part time accounts assistant.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years previous accounts experience within a busy office.  They will have experience of sales and purchase ledger and cash books.

The main duties of the position are to be responsible for the company’s sales and purchase ledger, cash books, general administration, dealing with customer enquiries, assisting the accountant and working as part of a busy admin team. 

Hours of work are 9.00am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday.  The ideal candidate will be required to start before the end of November.  It is essential that all candidates are computer literate and have a qualification such as CLAIT or ECDL.
