We wish to receive applications from suitably experienced candidates for the role of 2nd Chef, this position is integral to the ongoing growth and development of the hotel and this exciting role offers a unique career development opportunity for a highly skilled and creative Head Chef to further develop and hone their skills with an industry recognised leader.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4+ years experience in a similar role, coupled with a proven track record in successfully overseeing a kitchen to offer the finest quality food. This role will involve assuming responsibility in the Head Chef’s absence for all food served in the Restaurant, Bar, In Room Dining and for all functions such as Weddings and corporate functions. As a highly motivated and results orientated Chef, you will possess strong managerial and time management skills, in addition to a genuine passion for producing first class food.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Menu planning/cycles
- Food hygiene – maintaining high standards
- Budget control
- Health & Safety Management
- Deputising in the absence of the Head Chef
The Ideal Person:
- 4+ years experience as a Chef (Ideally hotel or fine dining environment)
- Qualification in Catering
- Innovative and creative chef with a passion for fine food
- Strong communicator with an organised and consistent work ethic

You will have some experience of working within a busy kitchen environment and have knowledge of the overall workings of a hotel kitchen. Working effectively as part of a professional kitchen team and have the initiative to work unsupervised when required.
It is expected that as a Commis Chef you will have a working knowledge of various kitchen stations.

We are now seeking a Chef De Partie to join their team of professionals and continue providing top class food in spectacular surroundings.
Your duties will include:
Plan, prep, set up and provide superior service in all areas of Kitchen Production
Follow established recipe and plating guide provided, to exact specification
Maintain and organise your station and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion to meet the Chef’s expectation.
You may be requested to assume responsibility for the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence.
The successful candidate will have 2-3 years experience in a similar role and the ability to work calmly under pressure is a must. The ideal candidate will have previous banqueting experience and be able to deliver exceptional dishes from Bar Menu to A La Carte and Banqueting. You will have experience in staff management, cost control, menu planning, staff rotas.
