We are working on an exclusive capacity with a key client that we have proudly worked with for a number of years. They provide an innovative, cost effective and time efficient range of products and services to a number of leading public and private sector bodies throughout the U.K. To aid them in their ongoing expansion and development into new markets, they are working with us to source and appoint an experienced Product Manager on a permanent basis in the Derry area.

Job Outline
The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Core Duties & Areas of Responsibility
Define the product strategy and roadmap
Deliver Market requirements Documents and Product Requirements Documents with prioritised features and corresponding justification
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
Be an expert with respect to the competition
Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
Perform product demos to customers
Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
Develop sales tools and collateral
Propose an overall budget to ensure success
Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings
Brief press and analysts and go on press tours
Act as a leader within the company

Candidate Profile
Required experience and knowledge:
Minimum of 2+ years experience as a Product Manager or Product Development
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
3+ years of experience in a job in the IT industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree
Technical background, with experience in the full software development lifecycle
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to travel
Must be able to provide examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past

Job Outline
The main purpose of the job is to support to the Chief Operations Officer by providing operational management within the Company, to ensure the achievement of agreed corporate goals and to contribute positively to the strategic direction of the organisation.
Core Duties & Areas of Responsibility
The need is for a highly motivated individual with a minimum of five years management experience in a commercial environment.  You will be accountable to the Chief Operations Officer for all operational activities on a day to day basis.  You will possess strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to implement operational strategies and initiatives, to further develop the business.  A proven track record in planning and delivering projects to a high standard, within strict timeframes is essential.  Furthermore you will have a flexible approach to support the company’s entrepreneurial flair.
Candidate Profile
Minimum of 5+ years experience as an Operations Manager preferably within the IT industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent management and teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Must be able to travel and work outside normal office hours as and when necessary
A solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development and strategic planning
