Receptionist/Secretary/Travel Coordinator required for 9 Month Temporary Contract starting in September.
Based in Donegal, in close proximity to Derry. The Company we are representing is a leading Manufacturer who have over 20 years experience operating throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe, serving large-scale industrial and commercial markets.
Based at a manufacturing facility in Co Donegal, they develop and supply an extensive range of products.
The main function of this role will include:
Provide full secretarial and receptionist support to the Managing Director
Coordination of all travel arrangements for MD and other staff
Managing multi-user switchboard
Consolidating multi-credit card monthly statements (with reference to Travel)
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of facilitating Director level support, having attained strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
You should be educated to Leaving certificate/GCSE level or equivalent holding qualifications in 5 subjects to include Maths and English a Grade C or above.
You should also have a significant number of years experience in a similar role.
In addition the successful candidate should have:
Excellent organisation skills with experience of managing and prioritising a busy workload
Strong interpersonal skills coupled with an enthusiastic “can-do” approach
The ability to deal positively under pressure and enjoyment of a busy working environment
Full competency with Microsoft Office and email
It is highly desirable that the successful candidate will come with previous experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment.

We are currently assisting one of Donegal’s leading retailers in their search for ’ Doorstep Sales Agents’ to help them develop direct sales for a specific product in their portfolio across the county of Donegal.
Suitable individuals will have direct sales experience in retail, field or maybe even Telesales. Ideally you will have significant experience in a similar role successfully achieving targets. You must have your own vehicle and be prepared to work hours that may include evenings and weekends.
Although most roles of this nature are normally commission only, this particular business is willing to offer a basic wage which will/can then be ‘topped up’ with commission based on hitting targets. Expected earnings are likely to be mid €20’s + for those hitting set targets and €30k+for those over achieving.

The Assistant Supervisor will be involved in assisting the Department Manager in the administration, staff supervision, maintenance, health and safety, co-ordination of workflow and overall smooth running of the department.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Supervision of operators on Chassis Shop floor
- Ensuring that cell leaders are carrying out their duties effectively and efficiently
- Coordinating work-flow
- Stock control
- Issuing Personal Protective Equipment
- Re-working customer changes and ensuring snag are cleared.
- Taking care of timesheets for operators across department
- Expediting missing parts
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
- Keeping standard drawings in order
- Being aware of health and safety issues
- General administrative duties as required by the position

- Welding knowledge preferably gained in an engineering environment

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Account Maintenance
• Troubleshoot/resolve customer complaints and issues
• Follow-up on late orders
• Develop/review price quotas
• Monitor open order status
• Conduct account follow-up calls
• Develop and submit daily sales reports
• Coordinate on-site sales calls with Outside sales reps
• Conduct sales ‘cold calls’ on prospective new customers

Essential Criteria:
• Candidates must possess strong technical acumen with a degree or 3rd level qualification in Engineering, Materials Science or Chemistry, or in a related discipline.

Job Outline

Network Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside this well know Mid Ulster company to assist them in the urgent recruitment of a Hygiene Supervisor who will co-ordinate and monitor the cleaning of all plant, equipment, utensils and other areas, both internal and external, to BRC and UK retailer standards.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis while continuously identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure cleaning manuals and records are in place and maintained for all production process areas and equipment.
- Ensure standards are maintained through a system of monitoring and auditing.
- Liaise with operations to prioritise a daily work plan and ensure equipment is available
- Facilitate training to ensure an appropriate skill level.
- Comply with H&S and COSHH legislation.
- Liaise with the pest control contractor, laundry contractor and the company’s chemical supplier.
Essential Criteria
- This is a hands on role and the selected candidate will be required to work closely alongside their team as well as performing supervisory duties.
- Experience working with hygiene in a manufacturing operation at supervisor level
- Must demonstrate a good level of written and oral English
- Ability to communicate well at all levels.
- Ability to use/show initiative.
- Strong and decisive team leader
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Highly motivated
- High personal standards of hygiene
- Able to carry out heavy lifting
- Can work long hours when necessary.
- Team player.
- Pleasant personality.
- Rota will include early mornings, evenings and weekend work on occasion
- Must be flexible
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working in a food manufacturing operation
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
