Chef de Partie for an exciting new role in an establishment that is well known for its exceptional hospitality and its fabulous food, this business is located in an idyllic setting in South West Donegal. In recent times this establishment has received rave reviews from its customers.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside an award winning Head Chef and in the company of a dedicated and fully experienced kitchen team in a property steeped in history
We are seeking applications for this role from Chefs who are very experienced in all the stations of a kitchen and ideally someone who can show flair and a talent for fine dining.
This is a rare opportunity to work for one of the Counties most historic businesses with a heritage spanning generations.
Applicants living or working in the Donegal Town, Ballyshannon or Bundoran areas may well be within a very commutable distance from this role and it is advised that due to the remote location of this position that only applicants with a full driving licence and own transport should apply. Please also note that initially this role is for a six month contract although there is a possibility of an extension on this for the right person.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4+ years experience in a similar role, coupled with a proven track record in successfully overseeing a kitchen to offer the finest quality food. This role will involve assuming responsibility in the Head Chef’s absence for all food served in the Restaurant, Bar, In Room Dining and for all functions such as Weddings and corporate functions. As a highly motivated and results orientated Chef, you will possess strong managerial and time management skills, in addition to a genuine passion for producing first class food.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Menu planning/cycles
- Food hygiene – maintaining high standards
- Budget control
- Health & Safety Management
- Deputising in the absence of the Head Chef
The Ideal Person:
- 4+ years experience as a Chef (Ideally hotel or fine dining environment)
- Qualification in Catering
- Innovative and creative chef with a passion for fine food
- Strong communicator with an organised and consistent work ethic

Job Description
Network Recruitment Letterkenny are working with an award winning and highly prestigious employer to assist them in making an integral addition to their team of highly experienced and skilled professionals in the Donegal area. This company have business interests in a varied range of industries to include; Property Development, Investment, Hospitality and Retail to name but a few. As a result of continued growth, they wish to make an integral appointment to their operations in the Donegal area. They have appointed us to assist them in recruiting a suitably experienced Financial Controller for a Maternity Cover Contract for a duration of 6 months.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting system with efficiency and accuracy ensuring all entities are controlled and correct
- Prepare weekly and monthly Management Accounts
- Produce Cash Flow forecasting along with Management and Financial reports
- Produce Year End Accounts and fulfill all Statutory Return requirements
- Manage the payroll system and procedures
- Maintenance of fixed asset register, calculation of depreciation charges
- Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Cashier and Stock duties as required
- Ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications/Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience
- Professional Accounting Qualification
- Experience within the Hotel Industry
- Analytical and logical approach to work
- Reporting directly to the Financial Manager at head office
