Job Description
Network Recruitment are currently working with a key client in the County Derry area who have asked us to assist them in the recruitment of an individual for a temporary/contract position for a set period of 1 month starting approximately on 10-12thth April 2010.
The official working title of this role is yet to be defined but it is likely to be Operations Supervisor or similar.
We are specifically seeking CV’s of individuals who can say yes to the following questions.
- Are you available for a short term contract/temporary role commencing approximately 10-12th April for a period of 4-5 weeks?
- Do you process strong administration skills?
- Do you have a high level of PC literacy, to include a strong working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office Suite?
- Have you previous experience in supervising numerous staff/teams?
- Are you willing to work between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday and Friday and also (crucially) evenings and weekends when required?
- Would you be available to work away from home for between 3-7 working days towards the end of this assignment? (Please note travel costs and accommodation costs would be covered by the client)
Individuals from a core IT background with supervisory experience would be highly sought after.

Job Description

Job Objective/Purpose:
To manage the production team to ensure maximum efficiency of all operations and to meet all expected targets and outputs on a daily basis in terms of quality, hygiene and health and safety.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret daily production sheets and react to any changes required
- Ensure day-to-day running of production department, ensuring targets are met in terms of quality and all relevant procedures are followed as detailed in the Work Instructions
- Ensure standards of hygiene and health & safety are maintained in your department.
- Ensure tasks are being performed efficiently, quickly and with due diligence, care and attention.
- Deal with basic problems as they arise and keep the Production Manager up to date of any issues.
- Liaise with various personnel / senior people to ensure efficient running of department
- Ensure Controllers and Charge-hands are fully trained and carrying out their duties.
- Take instructions from the production manager and ensure it filters through to employees and is followed as required
- Ensure all necessary documentation i.e. temperature, weight, metal detection is completed accurately and on time
- Any other reasonable duties as required

Group Account Manager – North Leinster
Location: Southern Ireland | Salary: €35K Basic + Bonus OTE €41K+

Due to continual growth they wish to receive applications from interested candidates for the role of Group Account Manager. This position will assist and contribute towards the development and maintenance of the sales division. This position will be responsible for a region encompassing North Leinster. (Dublin, Meath, Louth, Cavan, Monaghan and Westmeath)The successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager (North), Commercial Director and any other member of the management team where appropriate.
Key tasks include:
- Recruit new members into the company brands.
- Coordinate the activities of the development team.
- Increase participation within the stores.
- Monitor the growth within the stores and review it when necessary.
- Advise and support the retailer in all aspects of the business.
- Maintain standards within the stores and audit regularly.
- Review HACCP & advise retailer when required.
- Advise on all aspects of Central Billing.
- Train staff in merchandising, maintaining layouts and the importance of stock rotation.
- Inform retailers of promotions, new products, special offers etc.
- Communicate any news from within the company i.e. new signings, new appointments etc.
The successful candidate will have:
- Two years Store or Assistant Store management experience with a grocery retailer.
- At a minimum of two years relevant experience in sales role in the Grocery/ Symbol Sector.
- A full clean driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills- both written and oral.
- Be highly motivated; possess excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Be Systems Oriented.
- Team player. Ability to work on own initiative. Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Packages.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting system with efficiency and accuracy ensuring all entities are controlled and correct
- Prepare weekly and monthly Management Accounts
- Produce Cash Flow forecasting along with Management and Financial reports
- Produce Year End Accounts and fulfill all Statutory Return requirements
- Manage the payroll system and procedures
- Maintenance of fixed asset register, calculation of depreciation charges
- Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Cashier and Stock duties as required
- Ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications/Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience
- Professional Accounting Qualification
- Experience within the Hotel Industry
- Analytical and logical approach to work
- Reporting directly to the Financial Manager at head office
