We are pleased to be representing one of the Northwest’s best known and largest franchise motor dealer.<br />
Reporting to the Site Directors, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Management team and they will focus on managing a Sales team and maximizing the opportunities for the range of products whilst achieving agreed profitability targets.<br />
The Role:<br />
Work effectively with the new and used sales staff to achieve and sustain the optimal level and quality of sales.<br />
Develop sales opportunities to maximise opportunities for the range of manufacturers and dealerships products.<br />
Dynamically and professionally meet sales volumes and achieve generate exemplary levels of customer satisfaction.<br />
Ensure the team continuously delivers the highest level of customer satisfaction to every customer.<br />
Ensure agreed profitability targets are met through the optimisation of sales opportunities combined with appropriate control of costs and expenditure.<br />
To ensure expert and prompt advice is being provided to new and existing customers regarding the various finance and insurance products that are available with the sale of their new car.<br />
The Person:<br />
Experience within the motor industry is essential, in a Sales Manager role within a franchised environment and with experience in selling used car stock.<br />
Must have a proven track record in high level sales and customer satisfaction.<br />
Must possess strong managerial and communication skills.<br />
Must be organised, administratively competent and dedicated to achieving results.<br />
Should have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel),<br />
Experience of Kerridge is desirable, but not essential as full training in this system will be provided.<br />
A full driving licence is essential for the position.<br />
Other Information:<br />
All candidates must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.<br />
Hours of Work:  Monday to Friday 8.45am to 6pm, plus 2 late evenings a week and Saturdays.<br />
This is an exciting opportunity and will include an attractive performance based remuneration package.<br />

<p>Reporting to the Site Directors, an individual with exceptional leadership skills and strong commercial acumen is required to oversee the running of one of their busy dealerships, which will incorporate the sales and aftersales departments of this business.<br />
The Role:<br />
Overall responsibility for the effective, efficient running of all aspects of the franchises operations (sales and aftersales departments), within budget constraints<br />
Take responsibility for developing and attaining a culture of achievement and accountability within the site, and ensure exceptionally high standards of customer satisfaction are achieved.<br />
Ensure the Manufacturer’s and Company’s standards and processes are complied with.<br />
Communicate effectively with relevant customers and agencies to include internal and external customers, manufacturer representatives, external auditors, etc.<br />
Drive a process of continuous improvement throughout the extensive operations of the dealership.</p>
<p>The Person:<br />
Managerial experience within the motor industry is essential, within a franchised dealership.<br />
Have a strong operational knowledge, preferably gained within the motor trade.<br />
Possess the ability to develop, plan and implement the strategy and policies for all dealership activities;<br />
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to maintain and develop relationships with key customers;<br />
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to build strong plans, processes and controls and ensure delivery through your team;<br />
Have the ability to assimilate and analyse information and to think strategically, formulate decisions and make recommendations;<br />
Possess excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to motivate, drive and inspire others, including the sales and aftersales team<br />
Proficient IT skills to include knowledge of MS Office. Experience of Kerridge would be desirable, however full training will be provided.</p>

Our client design and manufacture unique and custom designed industrial waste heat recovery systems. The company has experienced organic growth in its business over the past three years and now wishes to appoint a dedicated Sales &amp; Marketing Manager who in conjunction with the General Manager will help accelerate the growth of the company going forward.  The company’s products are all applied in the chemical and process industries with a typical sales value in the range £10k-£150k.</p>
<p><strong>Key Areas of Responsibility:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The Sales &amp; Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying and generating new business whilst developing and expanding existing business to achieve agreed annual targets.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>This includes all aspects of the business development process to include: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Identifying leads</li>
<li>Initiating contact with potential clients/highlighting &amp; nurturing new and commercially viable relationships</li>
<li>Proposal development</li>

<li>Ongoing customer liaison</li>

<li>Demonstrable      experience in the coordination of all aspects of Financial Accounting I.E.      month end reporting, financial statutory accounts preparation, adhering to      strict internal corporate controls, working with internal/external      auditors E.G. US GAAP, IFRS, SOX. (Experience in these areas would be      highly advantageous)</li>
<li>Relevant      Industrial accounting experience at senior level (preferably within a      large food processing company)</li>
<li>Strong degree      of professionalism/business acumen, with the ability to interface      effectively at all levels</li>
<li>Strong      analytical skills</li>
<li>Strong      costing, cost analysis skills</li>
<li>Highly      developed leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills with      demonstrable ability in planning and setting goals and objectives</li>

<p>The person appointed will be responsible for the overall management of day to day operations, incorporating business planning and quality management in conjunction with the Managing Director.</p>
<p><strong>The Person</strong></p>
<p>* Previous strategic level management within a production environment</p>
<p>* Working knowledge of budgets, expenses and production costs</p>
<p>* Experience leading and motivating teams of employees</p>
<p>* Third level qualification in business, finance or management related discipline is preferred</p>
<p>* Excellent organisational and communication skills</p>
<p>* Ability to work flexible hours</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p><strong>* </strong>In conjunction with the management team, develop detailed operational plans for the company, identifying short term activity, performance targets, KPIs and budgets.</p>
<p> * Lead, manage, motivate and monitor the performance of the management team and direct and participate in related activity such as recruitment, training, performance management and dispute resolution as required.</p>
<p> * In conjunction with the Production/Quality Manager, optimise the day to day planning and throughput of the production facility.</p>
<p> * Ensure that quality standards are implemented and adhered to throughout the company.</p>
<p> * Participate in the hosting of customer and quality audits in conjunction with the Production/Quality Manager.</p>
<p> * Effectively oversee achievement of the company’s sales and marketing plan and ensure that the Managing Director is kept fully informed through reports and discussion on achievement of or variance in targets/budgets.</p>
