Job Description
Group Engineering Planner
Our client is at the forefront of supply within the national and international retail, commercial and foodservice markets. With a reputation founded on the delivery of a high quality and innovative product and service, they are constantly progressing to achieve their corporate goals and objectives consistently.
Due to continued and ongoing development, they wish to appoint an experience Group Engineering Planner to implement and develop policies, procedures and systems to develop and strengthen the Group’s Maintenance function further.
Responsibilities:
Group level reporting systems for site activities and operational costs. Group Maintenance and Project Management policies and procedures;
- Engineering Stores policies and procedures;
- Ongoing strategic assessment of the maintenance function;
- Planned Preventative Maintenance systems;
- Strategic KPI’s for the Group’s maintenance function;
• Continuous improvement systems including energy / utility conservation;Experience/Qualifications/Skills Required
- Either possess an HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years post qualification experience;
Or be time served in an electrical or mechanical discipline;
- Have 3 years management experience in a similar role;
- Possess relevant experience in managing major projects to specific deadlines;
- Competent in MS Office applications including Excel Word and Powerpoint.
