Branch Manager Permanent Career Opportunity

We are assisting a key client in the Retail Industry in their ongoing expansion and development. They understand that their staff are fundamental to their success and as such they have partnered with us to assist them in finding talented and experienced team members for multiple sites across the N.I. region.  Job Profile/Core Duties:

To maximise branch revenue growth and sales potential, whilst consistently and efficiently running the branch to ensure that all company expectations are met.

To train, mentor and develop a successful sales team by effectively managing branch and personal performance.

Main Duties:

• Ensuring that your branch achieves all financial targets
• Ensuring that branch turnover increases year on year
• Effectively manage the sales performance of the branch and team, ensuring all K.P.I.s are consistently achieved.
• Cash and administration management
• Health & Safety management
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures 
• Facilitating and running regular in house promotions
• Inspiring your team to deliver outstanding customer service and results in line with corporate goals, day after day.
• Ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the store
• Train and motivate staff to deliver results
• Communicating with Senior Management
• Budget and cost management
• Security control and monitoring
• Cash handling and cash management experience

Experience Required:

• Previous managerial retail experience where you have successfully sold key purchase products such as furniture, Cars, electronic goods or mobile phones.
• A proven track record of management/supervisory experience to include, controlling costs, recruitment, training, health and safety, within a retail or similar environment.
• The ability to motivate and mentor staff to achieve team goals and objectives
• Staff management and performance management experience
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle any customer care issues
• Individuals must possess a solid career history with evidence of consistently delivering outstanding customer service and achieving personal and team targets

Package& Benefits

• Basic salary + commission Basic £16,744 O.T.E. £30K+
• 28days annual leave (including public holidays)

These roles require suitably experienced and interested applicants to work a standard retail rota each week to include 5days per week from Monday to Sunday. This pattern will involve working Saturdays and Sundays and some late nights.

As a Retail Sales Manager in the Fashion Department you will possess the skills and experience to shape the future of this exceptional store.

They consistently fuse market leading customer service with an extensive product/designer brand range to attract fashion conscious clientele from across Ireland.

To aid them in their ongoing growth and development in the years ahead, they wish to receive interest from suitably experienced individuals for an integral role in their Fashion Department.

The Retail Sales Manager will assume full operational responsibility for the department and will become the brand ambassador for the company in this area.

The successful applicant will possess demonstrable people management experience to include experience with disciplinary procedures  & performance management, with solid experience gained in the retail industry at department manager level or above.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about clothes with the ability to advise others on putting an outfit together complete with all the right accessories

You’ll be responsible for managing budgets, stock control and merchandising to make sure that standards of service are world-class. This is a high-profile and hands-on management role that requires commercial acumen and creative flair. As a role model on the shop floor, you’ll coach, give feedback, build morale, roll out initiatives, and make recommendations on merchandising and product presentation

With outstanding customer service skills, you will also possess a strong flair for Sales and in achieving targets both individually and as part of your team. You commercial acumen, coupled with first class communication skills will enable you to manage others successfully to achieve common goals and objectives in line with company expectation. The successful applicant must possess a proven track record in Retail Management within a ladies wear fashion environment.
