			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are proud to be representing one of the Northwest’s best known and largest franchise motor dealers and are assisting them in their search for a General Manager.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Site Directors, an individual with exceptional leadership skills and strong commercial acumen is required to oversee the running of one of their busy dealerships, which will incorporate the sales and aftersales departments of this business.<br />
The Role:<br />
Overall responsibility for the effective, efficient running of all aspects of the franchises operations (sales and aftersales departments), within budget constraints<br />
Take responsibility for developing and attaining a culture of achievement and accountability within the site, and ensure exceptionally high standards of customer satisfaction are achieved.<br />
Ensure the Manufacturer’s and Company’s standards and processes are complied with.<br />
Communicate effectively with relevant customers and agencies to include internal and external customers, manufacturer representatives, external auditors, etc.<br />
Drive a process of continuous improvement throughout the extensive operations of the dealership.</p>
<p>The Person:<br />
Managerial experience within the motor industry is essential, within a franchised dealership.<br />
Have a strong operational knowledge, preferably gained within the motor trade.<br />
Possess the ability to develop, plan and implement the strategy and policies for all dealership activities;<br />
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to maintain and develop relationships with key customers;<br />
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to build strong plans, processes and controls and ensure delivery through your team;<br />
Have the ability to assimilate and analyse information and to think strategically, formulate decisions and make recommendations;<br />
Possess excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to motivate, drive and inspire others, including the sales and aftersales team<br />
Proficient IT skills to include knowledge of MS Office. Experience of Kerridge would be desirable, however full training will be provided.</p>
<p>Other Information:<br />
All candidates must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.<br />
Hours of Work:  Monday to Friday 8.45am to 6pm, plus 2 late evenings a week and Saturdays.<br />
This is an exciting opportunity and will include an attractive performance based remuneration package.<br />

<p>We have been retained by an expanding and highly successful client in the Manchester area to assist them in sourcing and appointing a key member of staff who will become integral in their plans for ongoing development and expansion within their industry of operation. Our client design and manufacture unique and custom designed industrial waste heat recovery systems. The company has experienced organic growth in its business over the past three years and now wishes to appoint a dedicated Sales &amp; Marketing Manager who in conjunction with the General Manager will help accelerate the growth of the company going forward.  The company’s products are all applied in the chemical and process industries with a typical sales value in the range £10k-£150k.</p>
<p><strong>Key Areas of Responsibility:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The Sales &amp; Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying and generating new business whilst developing and expanding existing business to achieve agreed annual targets.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>This includes all aspects of the business development process to include: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Identifying leads</li>
<li>Initiating contact with potential clients/highlighting &amp; nurturing new and commercially viable relationships</li>
<li>Proposal development</li>
<li>Negotiating and contract details</li>
<li>Ongoing customer liaison</li>
<li>Working to and achieving financial targets</li>
<li>Delivering on customer expectation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>This will involve;</strong></p>

<li>Developing and utilising a network of contacts to help build the company’s profile and develop new clients/revenue streams</li>
<li>Presenting company products and services to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails</li>
<li>Representing the company at industry events and tradeshows, to gain new business leads and contacts</li>
<li>Creating and assuming full responsibility for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation</li>
<li>Thoroughly understanding clients objectives including their Return on Investment (ROI) objectives</li>
<li>Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner</li>
<li>Ensuring the company remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients</li>

<li>Degree in business related discipline or engineering</li>
<li>Proven track record of successfully developing new business in an engineering market</li>

<li>Excellent communication skills (oral and written)</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint</li>
<li>Understanding and ability to work to and achieve financial targets</li>
<li>Ability to travel throughout UK &amp; Ireland and work away from home as required</li>

<p>Responsible for all financial &amp; accounting matters in a multi-product environment as a member of the company’s Senior Management Team. This role will involve contributing wholly to the cross functional strategic planning to achieve all company goals and objectives. A fundamental element of this role will be producing daily, weekly, monthly and annual accounts, incorporating weekly, monthly and annual K.P.I.s</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Key Responsibilities: </span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Responsible      for all aspects of cost accounting and financial strategic planning in a      multi-product environment, establishing forecasts based on new product      introductions and variance reporting.</li>
<li>Development of      budgets for each business unit</li>
<li>Development of      policies &amp; procedures as required</li>
<li>Compilation      &amp; management of timely and accurate reports to include:</li>

<li>Weekly gross margin reports</li>

<li>Extensive cost      accounting experience in a food (multi-product environment)</li>
<li>Demonstrable      experience in the coordination of all aspects of Financial Accounting I.E.      month end reporting, financial statutory accounts preparation, adhering to      strict internal corporate controls, working with internal/external      auditors E.G. US GAAP, IFRS, SOX. (Experience in these areas would be      highly advantageous)</li>
<li>Relevant      Industrial accounting experience at senior level (preferably within a      large food processing company)</li>
<li>Strong degree      of professionalism/business acumen, with the ability to interface      effectively at all levels</li>
<li>Strong      analytical skills</li>
<li>Strong      costing, cost analysis skills</li>
<li>Highly      developed leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills with      demonstrable ability in planning and setting goals and objectives</li>

<p><strong>Operations Manager – Permanent Position – Highly Competitive Remuneration </strong></p>

<p>This is a Senior Management position and the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Operations within a multi-product environment. The primary aim of this role will be to contribute to cross-functional strategic planning to achieve company objectives. A key area of focus will be to ensure that costs, quality control, yield, &amp; Human Resources are utilised to optimum levels to ensure the continuous improvement of profitability, customer satisfaction and overall company performance.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p>

<li>Implement change through the site in line with the corporate strategic plan</li>
<li>Full management of the processing cycle, from inception to completion</li>
<li>Work closely with the Senior Management Team to provide clear senior leadership and report on operational performance at senior management meetings</li>
<li>Ensure the delivery of agreed K.P.I.s for all production, quality and customer satisfaction activities and take appropriate action when necessary with emphasis on service and profit</li>
<li>Co-ordinate and plan the processing schedule in the short, medium and long term, taking into account, customer requirements, in addition to seasonal variation and promotional plans</li>
<li>Objective setting and performance management of middle management</li>
<li>Strategic planning ensuring the most efficient use of company resources. (this is to include staff training, waste reduction &amp; energy management)</li>
<li>Identify areas of process failure to propose improvements and take necessary corrective action</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all internal, customer, legislative environmental, health &amp; safety, food safety and quality requirements.</li>

<li>Degree in related subject/field or comparable work experience</li>
<li>Industrial management experience, preferably within a large food processing environment</li>
<li>Experience of running a BRC and/or Bord Bia approved facility</li>
<li>Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, budgeting, inventory control and project management.</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of and understanding of slaughtering, boning, dispatch processes, quality standards and maintenance practices.</li>
<li>Strong business acumen and professionalism, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels</li>
<li>Demonstrable ability in verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Highly developed leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills with strength in planning, objective setting and time management</li>
<li>Proven ability in continuous improvement and change management.</li>
