<p>Our client, a well known Hotel has been established for much more than 5 years and is recognised as one the Northwest’s finest hotels. The hotel prides itself on providing some of the most diverse facilities available and as a result of this enjoys year round business and great customer loyalty. They excel with a dedicated Conference &#038; Events area offering state of the art facilities that cater for hundreds of delegates.<br />
The hotel has also built a sound reputation for catering for large and small functions, weddings and events. </p>
<p>The purpose of this job is to improve profitability levels within the hotel through the effective application of systems, distribution, processes and design and implementation of strategic selling strategies &#038; action plans.<br />
Key focus on Rooms and Conference and Event revenues with the aim to over deliver planned revenue targets and gain competitive advantage.</p>
<p>Job Accountabilities will include:<br />
Managing Sales<br />
Strategic Planning<br />
Business Reporting &#038; Analysis<br />
Managing Customer Service<br />
Managing the Team<br />

<p>Person Specification</p>
<p>Successfully shortlisted applicants essentially should have an extensive amount of direct experience of revenue / sales management within rooms, conferencing or similar revenue streams.<br />
You should be a fluent English speaker who has effective communication, influencing, presenting and coaching skills and should be highly capable on Microsoft office particularly excel.</p>
<p>It would be advantageous if you had Opera PMS Experience and Sales and Catering System Management particularly in Conference and Events.</p>

<p>The main duties will include but will not be limited to:</p>
<p>Ensure all transactions (receipts, issues etc) are entered onto ERP system using Sage 1000 in a timely manner to allow for real-time reporting.</p>
<p>File all purchase orders</p>
<p>Issue &#8220;Pick Lists&#8221; to stores personnel</p>
<p>Reconcile delivery documents with Purchase Orders upon reciept.</p>
<p>Stock Taking</p>
<p>Previous experience of Sage is essential.</p>

<p>Duties to Include But Not Limited To:</p>
<p>    Supervising and providing ‘on the job’ training for teams of workers who have a range of backgrounds and varying levels of skills and abilities.<br />
    Managing a diverse range of environmental projects to include landscaping, building stiles and laying paths; restoring historical features;  tree and hedge planting; gardening<br />
    Having full accountability for planning and delivering projects in compliance with the management guidelines.<br />
    Transporting workers and materials by van.<br />
    Maintaining mileage records and logs for the van and carrying out regular checks and report malfunctions.<br />
    Identifying individual project needs and organising all material/machinery/resources according to project plans and specifications.<br />
    Motivating and guiding small team units to ensure projects are completed on time, to a high quality and in the most cost effective manner.<br />
    Ensuring that teams conform to all regulatory and health &#038; safety requirements in line with company policy.<br />
    Ensuring that all associated administration is carried out to the required standard and timescale.</p>
<p> Essential criteria</p>
<p>    Be aged over 25 years for insurance purposes<br />
    Have a full clean driving licence<br />
    Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience as a supervisor/foreman managing a team of at least 5 people in the construction industry<br />
    Ability to motivate and upskill a group of workers.<br />
    Have skills and experience of building with stone.<br />
    Have excellent practical skills and ‘hands on’ experience in bricklaying, landscaping or site joinery.<br />
    Have a demonstrable knowledge of a wide range of hand and power tools. (e.g. chainsaws, strimmers, hedge cutters, lawnmowers).<br />
    Excellent leadership and communication skills along with a strong team orientation.<br />
    Be physically fit, with stamina and the agility to cope with lifting and carrying.<br />
    Excellent planning skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and delegate workloads appropriately<br />
    Excellent knowledge of health and safety issues in a site environment</p>
<p>Desirable criteria</p>
<p>    Have ‘hands on‘ skills and expertise in a wide range of handyman skills including  joinery, bricklaying, ground work and painting.<br />
    Be a highly experienced and skilled stonemason<br />
    Previous experience in a training environment<br />
    A current CSR Gold card<br />
    A current First Aid certificate</p>

<div id="_mcePaste">This internationally acclaimed property is looking for a <strong>Commis Chef </strong>to join its award-winning kitchen. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, passionate and motivated Chef to join one of Ireland’s best hotels. This role provides the opportunity to receive great training while working with some of the finest chefs in the industry.</div>
<div id="_mcePaste"><strong>Job Overview:</strong></div>
<div id="_mcePaste">Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in the designated outlets in accordance with departmental quality standards, recipes and plating guide specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.</div>
<div id="_mcePaste"><strong>Essential Experience/Qualifications:</strong></div>
<div id="_mcePaste">Culinary College Degree/Diploma</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">2 years experience as a Line cook at a 4/5 star hotel or restaurant</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">Food handling certificate</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">Ability to provide legible communication</div>

As a result of continued growth, they are working in partnership with us to help them expand their team of highly respected and skilled ‘Software Engineers’ at their facility in Co. Donegal<br />
The position of Software Engineer will include:<br />
•	Working with both internal and external colleagues in the design, validation, integration and maintenance of both new and existing software applications<br />
•	Participating in code reviews and all testing, including unit testing, integration testing and system acceptance testing.<br />
•	Providing guidance to the team on technical tasks.<br />
The successful applicant will have:<br />
•	A higher level qualification in a Software related discipline or be able to demonstrate the necessary industrial experience<br />
•	Experience in object-orientated languages, preferably C++or C#<br />
•	Experience in relational databases e.g. MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL<br />
•	Knowledge of software development lifecycle<br />
•	Experience working to coding standards<br />
•	Knowledge in Linux and Qt is desirable but not essential<br />
•	Good interpersonal skills &#038; take initiative in a team environment<br />
