Receptionist/Secretary/Travel Coordinator required for 9 Month Temporary Contract starting in September.

The main function of this role will include:
Provide full secretarial and receptionist support to the Managing Director
Coordination of all travel arrangements for MD and other staff
Managing multi-user switchboard
Consolidating multi-credit card monthly statements (with reference to Travel)
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of facilitating Director level support, having attained strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
You should be educated to Leaving certificate/GCSE level or equivalent holding qualifications in 5 subjects to include Maths and English a Grade C or above.
You should also have a significant number of years experience in a similar role.
In addition the successful candidate should have:
Excellent organisation skills with experience of managing and prioritising a busy workload
Strong interpersonal skills coupled with an enthusiastic “can-do” approach
The ability to deal positively under pressure and enjoyment of a busy working environment
Full competency with Microsoft Office and email

We are currently assisting one of Donegal’s leading retailers in their search for ’ Doorstep Sales Agents’ to help them develop direct sales for a specific product in their portfolio across the county of Donegal.

Duties to include but not limited to: 

  • Supervision of operators on Chassis Shop floor
  • Ensuring that cell leaders are carrying out their duties effectively and efficiently

  • Stock control
  • Issuing Personal Protective Equipment
  • Re-working customer changes and ensuring snag are cleared.
  • Taking care of timesheets for operators across department
  • Expediting missing parts
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping

  • Being aware of health and safety issues
  • General administrative duties as required by the position

To carry out lighting upgrades in public and commercial buildings throughout the UK and Ireland to the required quality standards including the sustained achievement of output targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out all scheduled work as allocated by management
  • To carry out all lighting upgrade work to the required ISO 9001: 2001 quality standards following the set guidelines
  • To observe health and safety work practice regulations on site including the use of tools and other equipment
  • To achieve the set productivity levels
  • To carry out any other tasks which from time to time may be required by management

Skills Required:

Essential:

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good practical and communication skills and the ability to maintain high quality workmanship.
  • Access and use of own transport is essential
  • Willingness to participate in in-house and external training as required
  • Experience in dealing with the general public
  • Ability to travel throughout UK & Ireland as required

Desirable:

  • Previous electrical experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Job Outline
The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. Candidate Profile
Required experience and knowledge:
Minimum of 2+ years experience as a Product Manager or Product Development
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
3+ years of experience in a job in the IT industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree
Technical background, with experience in the full software development lifecycle
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to travel
Must be able to provide examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past

Attending all the necessary project planning and status meetings.
Working with the necessary stakeholders to acquire ongoing resources, spearheading and conducting all UAT communications.
Leading go/ no-go decisions from a client perspective and providing UAT status reporting.
This position will collaborate with the program management team, operations team, project sponsors, and with other key stakeholders.
Support the internal network and systems
Record, track and manage all internal support requests
Candidate Profile
The selected candidate will have a solid UAT testing background with proven experience working as a within a software product company.

Required experience and knowledge:
Minimum of 3+ years Testing and UAT experience.

Experience Required:

  • Previous managerial retail experience where you have successfully sold key purchase products such as furniture, Cars, electronic goods or mobile phones.
  • A proven track record of management/supervisory experience to include, controlling costs, recruitment, training, health and safety, within a retail or similar environment.
  • The ability to motivate and mentor staff to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Staff management and performance management experience
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle any customer care issues
  • Individuals must possess a solid career history with evidence of consistently delivering outstanding customer service and achieving personal and team targets

These roles require suitably experienced and interested applicants to work a standard retail rota each week to include 5days per week from Monday to Sunday. This pattern will involve working Saturdays and Sundays and some late nights.

Job Description

Established since 2006 and with a reputation for producing products of a very high specification, our client is experiencing a period of growth in their industry of operation. As a result of this growth, they wish to appoint an experienced Production Manager for their busy facility in Mid Ulster. The production manager will be involved with the planning, coordination and control of entire production process, from initial order through to the shop floor or customer home. The production manager will ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently; that they are of the right quality, quantity, and cost; and that they are produced on time, to the satisfaction of the customer, at the right price. The production manager will be responsible for both human and material resources.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule;
  • Ensuring that the production is cost effective;
  • Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
  • Working out the human and material resources needed;
  • Drafting a timescale for the job;
  • Estimating costs and setting the quality standards;
  • Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
  • Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;
  • Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmers;
  • Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;
  • Working with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals;
  • Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;
  • Supervising and motivating a team of workers;
  • Reviewing the performance of subordinates;
  • Identifying training needs.
  • The production manager will be involved in both the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.

Housekeeper (Live in/Live out)

Job Description

We are looking for a House Keeper (Either Live in or Live Out) to assist one of clients based in the Mid Ulster area. 

General household duties such as:

  • Washing and ironing clothes
  • Dusting and polishing furniture
  • Brushing, Mopping or Vacuuming floor areas
  • Driving Client to appointments during working hours, using clients own vehicle
  • Helping to lift client in and out of car due to client being in a wheelchair
  • Nursing duties such as helping with toileting and bathing

 

 Essential

  • UK Driving License
  • Ability to drive manual car
  • Ability to understand English both written and verbal
  • Must be physically fit, as position will involve manual lifting.
  • Experience is not necessary as training will be given;

If the successful candidate opts for the live in option they will have their own bedroom and bathroom with no household bills to pay.
Live in Salary is £210pw net and will be slightly higher if candidate chooses to live out.

Candidates will be subject to obtaining an Enhanced Access NI check if selected for the post.

Hours of Work:

30hrs per week, days and times to be arranged with flexibility required.
