We are currently assisting our client (a 4 Star rated hotel in the County Donegal area) to recruit a

Full time and permanent Food & Beverage Manager.
This property is well known for its enviable location in a beautiful remote area of Donegal with fabulous views and a neighboring elite golf course.

 

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for managing all aspects of the Food & Beverage Departments and will maximize the profitability of the F&B operations through the implementation of effective cost controls and supplier negotiation

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain consistent standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction while creating a work environment that supports organisational values
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Food & Beverage departments, ensuring exceptional guest service from all areas
  • Develop sales plan for Food & Beverage in line with annual budget
  • Keep abreast of local market trends in order to maintain a competitive edge
  • Ensure adequate resource planning on a weekly basis
  • Set and review departmental objectives for the team and provide continuous employee feedback through appraisal process and job chats
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints
  • Negotiate and monitor contracts and agreements with external suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing of F&B items
  • Ensure awareness and compliance with all Health & Safety and HACCP work practices

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Network Recruitment are currently working with a key client in the County Derry area who have asked us to assist them in the recruitment of an individual for a temporary/contract position for a set period of 1 month starting approximately on 10-12thth April 2010.

The official working title of this role is yet to be defined but it is likely to be Operations Supervisor or similar.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities
·Measure and fabricate timber moulds for the manufacture of precast concrete products as per AutoCAD generated drawings.
·Operate portable electric saws to cut / rip timber as required.
·Set up / prepare moulds in readiness for pouring of concrete.
·Place and secure steel reinforcement and specified fixings / fittings.
·Pour concrete into moulds, level and compact using poker vibrator.
·Float concrete to achieve specified finish.
·Strike and de-mould product when concrete has hardened.
·Transfer product to concrete finishing area.
·Clean and prepare moulds for further casts of concrete.
·Adhere to Company Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times, wearing specified PPE and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
·Any other duties assigned by supervisors/managers commensurate with the job.

Person Specification
Essential:
·Served joinery apprenticeship.

Job Overview:

Education and Professional Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in an IT environment.

  • Ensure Controllers and Charge-hands are fully trained and carrying out their duties.
  • Take instructions from the production manager and ensure it filters through to employees and is followed as required
  • Ensure all necessary documentation i.e. temperature, weight, metal detection is completed accurately and on time 
  • Any other reasonable duties as required

  • A full clean driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills- both written and oral.
  • Be highly motivated; possess excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Be Systems Oriented.
  • Team player. Ability to work on own initiative. Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Packages.

Steps to Work Support Worker

Job Description

Network Personnel currently require a full time ‘Steps to Work’ support worker who will be based in Cookstown who will be responsible for the day to day running of the ‘Steps to Work’ programme.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Ensure standards and procedures are maintained in line with Jobcentre and DEL guidelines.
  • To liaise effectively with the Department of Employment and Learning and other outside bodies as required.
  • To carry out one to one interviews with STW clients, conduct initial assessment and formulate appropriate Learning and Development plans.
  • Source suitable work placements.
  • Arrange/deliver training as identified in the initial assessment.
  • Monitor participant’s attendance and performance as required by guidelines.
  • Oversee all general administration procedures.
  • To maintain customer satisfaction at the optimum level by ensuring that training is delivered to the highest standard and that work placements are appropriate and conducive to the learning process.
  • To meet regularly with placement provider in order to ensure that individual trainees are progressing satisfactorily.
  • To control the use of financial resources and review performance in terms of financial targets set by the management committee.
  • To demonstrate good personnel management practice.
  • To avail of any training required to meet the needs of the Company.
  • To liaise with other staff and management and to provide a high standard of service.
  • To attend monthly staff meetings.
  • To produce reports on the STW programme as required including the annual self-evaluation report and monthly board reports.

Essential Criteria:

The successful applicant must have:

  • Good standard of general education including G.C.S.E. English & Maths grade C or higher
  • Strong empathy with target population
  • Minimum of one years relevant employment experience
  • Experience of record keeping / administration
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to a car

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience of delivering programmes aimed at the unemployed.
  • Experience of Microsoft office packages.
  • 9295/ 9297 level 2 Certificate in Adult Learner Support Literacy and Numeracy or a higher essential skills related qualification.
  • NVQ assessors award D32/D33 or ‘A’ assessor award

Trainee Front Counter/Yard Person

Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for someone who has an avid interest in cars or the car industry and wants to gain more experience in this field.

Duties to include but not limited to:

·Answer telephones
·Deal with customer queries via telephone and face to face
·Provide customers with information on vehicles and machinery in
yard
·Update company website
·Money handling
·Move vehicles around yard
·General admin duties
·Other duties as requested

The ideal candidate must be highly presentable and have a good general knowledge of cars and machinery and a genuine interest in learning about the car industry. In this business customer service is key to ensure repeat business therefore previous customer service experience is essential as is a full valid driving licence. Candidates must have good communication skills, be able to work on own initiative and be physically fit and active to carry out manual work.

Hours of work
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
Monday and Wednesday 8.30am – 8.30pm
One Saturday every month 8.30am – 4pm

Reporting to the Company Secretary and based in their Dublin Office, they wish to appoint a HR Generalist with Payroll experience who will take responsibility for the day to day HR activities within the Group.

Responsibilities will include
• Employee Relations, Grievance & Disciplinary and Performance Management
• Recruitment & Selection of key personnel within the group
• Compensation & Benefits including pension, healthcare etc
• Development and implementation of group HR policies
• Providing guidance to managers to ensure consistent, equal, and fair treatment of all employees.
• Keeping up to date with legislative changes relating to Irish, Northern Irish and UK employment law including industry specific REA’s and JLC’s.
• Process payroll for approximately 170 employees
• Comply with all PAYE, PRSI and Income Levy requirements
• Preparation, reconciliation and submission of returns to Revenue Commissioners and CSO

The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience
• 3rd level qualification/CIPD accreditation
• Payroll / Accounting Technician qualification
• Experience working within a stand alone HR role in a variety of industries
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels while working closely with the management team.
