Our client, a well known Hotel has been established for much more than 5 years and is recognised as one the Northwest’s finest hotels. The hotel prides itself on providing some of the most diverse facilities available and as a result of this enjoys year round business and great customer loyalty. They excel with a dedicated Conference & Events area offering state of the art facilities that cater for hundreds of delegates.
The hotel has also built a sound reputation for catering for large and small functions, weddings and events.
The purpose of this job is to improve profitability levels within the hotel through the effective application of systems, distribution, processes and design and implementation of strategic selling strategies & action plans.
Key focus on Rooms and Conference and Event revenues with the aim to over deliver planned revenue targets and gain competitive advantage.
Job Accountabilities will include:
Managing Sales
Strategic Planning
Business Reporting & Analysis
Managing Customer Service
Managing the Team

Person Specification
Successfully shortlisted applicants essentially should have an extensive amount of direct experience of revenue / sales management within rooms, conferencing or similar revenue streams.
You should be a fluent English speaker who has effective communication, influencing, presenting and coaching skills and should be highly capable on Microsoft office particularly excel.
It would be advantageous if you had Opera PMS Experience and Sales and Catering System Management particularly in Conference and Events.

We are currently in the process of assisting them appoint an Administrator who will ensure all administrative tasks within the stores department are actioned with urgency and accuracy for their busy facility in Cookstown.
The main duties will include but will not be limited to:
Ensure all transactions (receipts, issues etc) are entered onto ERP system using Sage 1000 in a timely manner to allow for real-time reporting.
File all purchase orders
Issue “Pick Lists” to stores personnel
Reconcile delivery documents with Purchase Orders upon reciept.
Stock Taking
Previous experience of Sage is essential.

Job Description
We are delighted to be working alongside on of our long standing clients by souring for an Heritage Supervisor. This position is based in the Mid Ulster Area and will appeal to candidates who thrive on a challenge and working in a role with lots of variety and creativity.
Duties to Include But Not Limited To:
Supervising and providing ‘on the job’ training for teams of workers who have a range of backgrounds and varying levels of skills and abilities.
Managing a diverse range of environmental projects to include landscaping, building stiles and laying paths; restoring historical features; tree and hedge planting; gardening
Having full accountability for planning and delivering projects in compliance with the management guidelines.
Transporting workers and materials by van.
Maintaining mileage records and logs for the van and carrying out regular checks and report malfunctions.
Identifying individual project needs and organising all material/machinery/resources according to project plans and specifications.
Motivating and guiding small team units to ensure projects are completed on time, to a high quality and in the most cost effective manner.
Ensuring that teams conform to all regulatory and health & safety requirements in line with company policy.
Ensuring that all associated administration is carried out to the required standard and timescale.
Essential criteria
Be aged over 25 years for insurance purposes
Have a full clean driving licence
Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience as a supervisor/foreman managing a team of at least 5 people in the construction industry
Ability to motivate and upskill a group of workers.
Have skills and experience of building with stone.
Have excellent practical skills and ‘hands on’ experience in bricklaying, landscaping or site joinery.
Have a demonstrable knowledge of a wide range of hand and power tools. (e.g. chainsaws, strimmers, hedge cutters, lawnmowers).
Excellent leadership and communication skills along with a strong team orientation.
Be physically fit, with stamina and the agility to cope with lifting and carrying.
Excellent planning skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and delegate workloads appropriately
Excellent knowledge of health and safety issues in a site environment
Desirable criteria
Have ‘hands on‘ skills and expertise in a wide range of handyman skills including joinery, bricklaying, ground work and painting.
Be a highly experienced and skilled stonemason
Previous experience in a training environment
A current CSR Gold card
A current First Aid certificate

We are currently recruiting for experienced waiting staff for a well known and popular eatery in the Letterkenny area.
Duties to include taking orders, serving customers, handling cash and general duties as assigned.

The role

Our client based in the North West area are leaders in their field of operation supplying specific IT type products and services to their clients mainly within public sector.
We are recuing on their behalf for a Senior PHP Developer. (Salary Negotiable)
This companies technology is mainly all built on open source platforms and the current team is made of techies who live and breathe this technology. The good news is that they have a space for a senior PHP programmer to join the team and help build great code for their customers.
This is a challenging role for someone with sound experience and the desire to make a real difference.
The role:
This role comes with big expectations and the successful candidate will be able to show that he/she can develop into a leadership role.
As well as developing great code yourself you’ll be expected to work with other members of the team as a mentor and coach them
You will often be customer facing and be responsible for translating user requirements into specifications and ultimately into deliverables
You’ll be responsible for estimating timescales and will work closely with the development manager to schedule activity and get this delivered
You’ll test your own work and the work of others, providing constructive feedback and helping the testing team get through their test cycles efficiently
You’ll take the time to scan the technical horizon for new innovations and feed these into our roadmap
The position is based in Derry but will require some travel throughout the UK and possibly further afield
About you:
You’ll have significant experience (ideally 7 years) of building web applications in open source technology
You’ll have a computer related qualification (degree or similar) and a track record of demonstrable success
You’ll understand and be comfortable with most parts of the development cycle, from initial concept to finished deliverable
You’ll be able to build a solution from the front end to the back and understand the importance of each part of the puzzle
You’ll be articulate, positive and solutions driven
You’ll be a team player
You’ll be curious and want to find the right solution in the circumstances
You’ll care passionately about our customers and want to build products that fit their needs
You may have experience of Moodle and/or WordPress
You’ll understand version control and be comfortable working in a structured development environment

Based at a manufacturing facility in Co. Donegal, they develop and supply an extensive range of products through a rigorous design and testing regime to provide their clients with the solutions they require.
Role Description:
Reporting directly to Company Directors as part of the Research and Development team your
role will involve the preparation of 3D models and manufacturing drawings pertaining to this client’s specific products manufacture and installation.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
The candidate must have an academic qualification related to the post such as a Certified Solid Works Professional, City & Guilds Level 3 in CAD or equivalent.
Work experience in a 3D package such as Solid Works or Pro E with proficiency in AutoCAD, both 2D and 3D.
Knowledge of Engineering Drawing Standards is necessary.
A sound understanding of manufacturing processes, especially Injection Moulding and Sheet Metal Fabrication.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience within a manufacturing / electrical engineering environment
Experience with Visual Basics, Illustrator and Photoshop.
In addition the successful candidate will be:
Able to clearly demonstrate their CAD ability through a portfolio of work and/or past industrial experience

This is a salaried position and the successful candidate is likely to work between 40-45 hours a week over 5 days – there may be on occasion the need to work an additional day to ensure optimum cover is maintained in the department.
This store currently trades Mon-Sat with one late night (Friday) and Sundays only in the run up to Christmas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Requirements:
• BS/BA or Associate degree in business, marketing, finance, or 5 years’ experience.
• Strong communications and writing skills in English;
• Understanding of networking products and IT solutions;
• Outgoing personality and the ability to relate well with others both in person and over the phone and strong communications skills;
• Experience with web and social media is a plus;
• Vision for creative marketing initiatives;
• Wish to pro-actively learn and grow.
